CTC LEAF:  58,455 packages of  tea on offer met with a good demand.

BROKENS: Well made good liquoring Brokens were a good market and were firm to occasionally dearer following competition. Medium varieties met with a fairly good demand but tended slightly easier.  Plainer varieties met with less demand and witnessed a little more withdrawals. BLF teas again met with less demand at easier rates with more withdrawals.

FANNINGS:  Well made good liquoring Fannings met with a  good demand and were about steady in line with quality. Medium varieties were a fair market and were slightly easier with little more withdrawals. Plainer varieties met with less demand and witnessed more withdrawals. BLF teas again met with less demand at easier rates with more withdrawals.

DUST: 12,441 packages of tea on offer met with an improved demand. Good liquoring Dusts were a stronger market and were dearer by Tk.3/- to Tk.5/- closely following quality. Their Mediums also met with a good demand and sold at around last levels. However, Plain/BLF Dusts met with less demand and witnessed heavy withdrawals. Blenders lent strong support with fair interest from the Loose tea buyers.

COMMENTS: Blenders continued to operate with useful strength. However, Loose tea buyers were a little less active which resulted in less competition and slightly higher withdrawals.

Dusts were a dearer market.
