TEA MARKET REPORT – Sale 24 Held on Monday 20th October, 2025

CTC LEAF: 51,080 packages of tea on offer met with a stronger demand.

BROKENS: Well made good liquoring Brokens met with a stronger demand and prices appreciated further. Medium varieties met with more demand and were fully firm to slightly dearer. Likewise, plainer varieties also met with more demand and sold at around last levels. BLF teas met with a strong demand with only a little withdrawals.

FANNINGS: Well made good liquoring Fannings were again a strong market and sold at around last levels in line with quality. Medium and plainer varieties saw good demand and were mostly firm. BLF teas met with a strong demand with only a little withdrawals.

DUST: 11,212 packages of tea on offer met with a strong demand. Good liquoring Dusts sold well at around last levels. Mediums were fully firm to occasionally dearer by Tk.3/- to Tk.5/- closely following quality. Plain/BLF Dusts met with a slightly improved demand and saw less withdrawals.

COMMENTS:  Blenders lent useful support for all varieties following good competition. Loose tea buyers were less active this week.

Dusts were a dearer market.
