CTC LEAF:  59,856 packages of tea on offer met with a fairly good demand.

BROKENS: Clean liquoring Brokens met with a fairly strong market and were mostly dearer following competition. Their Mediums were also a good market and sold around last levels. Plain varieties saw less demand and were easier with more withdrawals. BLF teas again met with a restricted demand with heavy withdrawals.

FANNINGS: Clean liquoring Fannings were a good market and were firm to slightly dearer following competition. Medium varieties met with quite a good market and were generally firm to slightly easier. Plain varieties saw less demand and were easier with more withdrawals. BLF teas again met with a restricted demand with heavy withdrawals.

DUST: 9,854 packages of tea on offer met with a good demand. Good liquoring Dusts sold well at slightly easier rates. Medium Dusts were in good demand and were fully firm to occasionally dearer closely following quality. Plain/BLF Dusts were a selective market with heavy withdrawals. Blenders lent strong support with fair interest from the Loose tea buyers.

COMMENTS: The few available clean liquoring varieties continued to meet with a strong demand and were often dearer following competition. However, bulk of the offerings which comprised of plain end of season varieties continued to meet with a selective demand and witnessed heavier withdrawals. Blenders lent stronger support with a little more interest from the Loose tea buyers.

Dusts sold well.
